1. Acceptance
By browsing this website, reading our articles or submitting a form, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
If you use this site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that company.
2. Relationship to product agreements
Nothing on this website grants you a licence to Nova Vision or to any Technova software. Access to Nova Vision — hosted by Technova or deployed on-premise — is governed by a separate master services agreement, order form and data processing agreement.
Where those documents and these terms conflict, the signed agreement controls for everything concerning the product.
3. Permitted use
This site is intended for professional and business use. You may read our pages, share links to them, and print or download reasonable extracts for internal evaluation, provided you keep the content unmodified and credit Technova Industries.
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl or harvest the site by automated means, beyond well-behaved search engine indexing that respects our robots.txt.
- Use our content, images or article text to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine learning models without our prior written permission.
- Probe or scan the administration console, internal APIs or any non-public part of the site, attempt to access them, or bypass rate limits and other protections.
- Submit false identities or another person's details through our forms, or use those forms to send unsolicited commercial messages.
- Copy, reverse engineer or republish the design, source code or structure of the site.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, or interfere with the availability of the site for others.
5. What you send us
Please keep your submissions to business contact details and a description of your need. Do not send confidential information, trade secrets, protected health information, regulated records or personal data about third parties through the contact or demo forms — they are ordinary email channels, not a secure data room.
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate, and you agree that we may contact you at the address or number you give us in order to answer your request.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about our products, we may use them freely, without restriction, attribution or compensation.
6. Demos and evaluations
Submitting a demo request creates no contract and does not oblige us to provide a demo. Scheduling depends on availability and on fit.
Anything shown during a demo — sample footage, figures, verification results, timelines including our 48-hour installation target — is illustrative. Actual results depend on your cameras, sensors, systems of record, network and processes, and become binding only if they appear in a signed agreement.
7. Website content and claims
Our pages and articles are published for information. They are not legal, regulatory, food safety or compliance advice, and they do not replace your own assessment.
Performance figures, metrics and customer outcomes described on this site reflect specific deployments or internal estimates. They are not a guarantee of the results you will obtain.
You remain solely responsible for complying with the regulations that apply to your operation, including HACCP, FSMA, GDP and any customer or certification requirement.
Articles may be illustrated with AI-generated imagery. Such images are decorative and do not depict real facilities, people or events.
8. Intellectual property
The website and everything in it — text, articles, images, layout, design, graphics and source code — belongs to Technova Industries or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
"Technova Industries", "Nova Vision" and our logos are our trademarks. Other names and marks mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
No licence or right is granted to you except as expressly stated in section 3.
9. Third-party links and services
The site links to external resources such as our LinkedIn page, and relies on third-party services including Google Analytics. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
10. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, restrict or withdraw the website or any part of it at any time, including articles and published pages, without notice. We give no uptime commitment for this website.
Availability commitments for Nova Vision, if any, are set out in your service agreement — not here.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the site will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Technova Industries and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, arising out of your use of this website.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this website is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Technova Industries harmless from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.
14. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Any dispute relating to this website will be brought exclusively before the state or federal courts located in Brown County, Wisconsin, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country of residence.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The revised version is published on this page with a new date and takes effect when posted. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.
